Nagaland is one of the ‘Seven Sister’ states of Northeast India. It is located in the farthest Northeastern part of India. Electricity Services in Nagaland

Established under the provisions of Section 82 of the Electricity Act, 2003 known as the Nagaland Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), it came to be effective from the date of joining of the first member in the office. Er. S.I. Longkumer was the first member cum Chairman of the NERC who took oath on 4th March, 2008 which is also considered as the day of the establishment of the Commission.

Nagaland Police

The headquarters of the Nagaland police is located at the PR Hills in Kohima. The department of Police in Nagaland is headed by the Director General of Police who is assisted by several other officers with ranks of ADGP, IGP, AIG, DIG and SP.

Fire Services in Nagaland

Established in the year 1966, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services in Nagaland was initially a part of the police department itself but later on bifurcated into an individual department.
