Nagaland is more popular for the
fact that its climate remains salubrious throughout the year. However,
the climate remains humid and rainfall is common during Monsoon season.
The annual average rainfall varies from 175 cm to 250 cm. The state
receives maximum rainfall during the 4 months from June to September.
Strong winds blow from the North West in February and March. In winter, temperature doesn’t drop below 39 degrees Fahrenheit, but frost is common at higher altitudes.
